The road to 13.1: Relaxing

After yesterday’s tough, rewarding run, this morning’s run was a bit more relaxing:

Run #14:  3.12 miles, 32:58, 10:34.1/mile

While it was a faster pace than yesterday’s long run, it was still a relaxed run.  There was no pressure, no need to worry about conquering some hill … just a nice, quick, peaceful run.  I enjoyed being out there.  It was a little chilly, but it was so quiet.  I realised my third little bit of running-related knowledge today.

#1:  SmartWool and I go great together, except when I’m running.

#2:  Happiness is a personal record.

#3:  Recovery runs are the second-best reward for long runs, right after coffee.
