The road to 13.1: Recovery
Today’s recovery run shared one commonality with yesterday’s long run: lots and lots of snow. The driveway hadn’t been plowed when I went out to run, so I had to wade through nearly a foot of the cold, white stuff. My running partner couldn’t get down today because of the roads, so I went alone. Fortunately, I am not afraid to walk (well, run) this world alone.
Run #18: 3.12 miles, 32:53, 10:32.2/mile
I did today’s recovery run at my best pace to date. I’ve had better paces for 5K runs, but not after my long runs. Given that yesterday’s long run was my longest-ever run, I’m really happy about it.

A couple of photos of me have made it to the Borgess Run Camp photoblog in the last two weeks. I made the entry for 14 February 2009 and one of the entries for 21 February 2009.
