The road to 13.1: Passing the two-hour mark

14 March 2009

In today’s edition of Borgess Run Camp, I crossed the two-hour mark for the first time.  I also hit 12 miles for the first time.  Results:

Run #29:  12 miles, 2:08:43, 10:43.6/mile

There were SO many hills on this course.  A couple of the toughest were in the last couple of miles, on Burdick Street.  One was between Kilgore and Cork, and the other was just north of Cork.  After the run, and after coffee, and after running a couple of errands, I headed home to relax, ice the sore parts, relax, watch basketball, and relax.
