New music
22 March 2009
Here are a few of my most recent musical acquisitions.
- Coolio, “1-2-3-4 (Sumpin’ New) — This is a new addition to my running mix.
- Duke University Marching and Pep Band, “Fight, Blue Devils, Fight” — I hope they continue fighting all the way to the NCAA basketball championship game. There, my heart and my bracket will part ways.
- Journey, “Wheel in the Sky” — Classic rock.
- Bob Rivers, “Osama Got Run Over by a Reindeer” — Enough said.
- Simple Plan, “Shut Up” – This was one of Bridgette’s recommendations to me for my running mix.
- John Williams, “The Battle of Yavin” — This is decent pre-running music.
- 3OH!3, “Don’t Trust Me” — This was another of Bridgette’s recommendations to me for my running mix.

How on earth does one run to The Battle of Yavin?
Oh. I see, pre-run… wow. 9 minutes? How long is your pre-run?
It’s not that there’s a specific amount of pre-run time. I do, though, have a mix of motivating music set up for my listening pleasure before I run a race.
my name is here twice. and coolio’s is only here once. does that mean I’m cooler than coolio? wow.
I conferred with a friend on this. She said that, yes, it does indeed make you cooler than Coolio. I think he might have better hair, though.
(If that doesn’t get a response, I don’t know what will.)
