47 minutes of happiness

Today was another cool, pleasant day.  It was in the low 60s when our group went for its run.  Today, I ran with Sheila, Nancy, and Laura; unfortunately, we were missing a couple of folks.  We returned to our first course, because several of us are running the Schoolcraft Firecracker 5-Miler on Saturday and wanted to run a relatively flat course.  The operative word is “relatively”; there are a couple of modest hills along the route.  Still, we made good time – but not too good.

5 miles, 47:19, 9:27.7/mile

Our pace was a little bit faster than it should have been for me to stay within my easy-run pace zone.  It wasn’t horribly out of zone, though.
